OZARK'S TOP 250 MOVIES: #160-#151

#160 - Equilibrium (2002)
Christian Bale kicks it Matrix-style in this totalitarian future where people aren't allowed to have emotions as it can lead to violence. He plays an enforcer of the law trained in a style of martial-arts that involves gun play.

#159 - Oldboy (2003)
Chan-wook Park's second film in his vengeance trilogy is a landmark movie in Korean cinema. A daring, disturbing, violent, bizarre and multi-layered plot pulls the viewer in, with a final twist that will leave you stunned. And from what I hear this isn't even his best movie.

#158 - Collateral (2004)
For the first time in 10 years Tom Cruise gets to play evil, the last time was as Lestat in Interview with a Vampire. With this performance he blows away anything he has done before. He is cold, ruthless and detached, the only thing better than him is Jamie Foxx who is a revelation in his role as the cab driver dragged into the killer's world.

#157 - Death and the Maiden (1994)
This movie is all about the acting. Sigourney Weaver and Ben Kingsley are the only actors on screen for the majority of this movie. As Weaver plays a woman who is convinced that her guest (Kingsley) is a man who tortured her for the goverment. She in turn returns the favor.

#156 - Caddyshack (1980)
It is the supporting characters in this movie that really make it what it is. Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield and Ted Knight are the real comedic stars.
"This crowd has gone deadly silent, a Cinderella story outta nowhere. Former greenskeeper and now about to become the masters champion."

#155 - The Rock (1996)
This is Michael Bay's finest. On the surface it is yet another one of his flashy MTV-stylised action flicks. But this movie is so much fun that you barely notice and you are taken on the ride. Cage and Connery have one of the best buddy movie chemistry ever.
"Gentlemen. Welcome to the Rock!"

#154 & #153 - Toy Story (1995), Toy Story 2 (1999)
It's hard to seperate these two. Toy Story is PIXAR's first full lenght CGI adventure it is original, fresh and funny. Whilst the sequel went further with the in-jokes and great lines.

#152 - Stand By Me (1986)
A great adaptation of the Stephen King novella 'The Body'. Featuring some great performances from kid actors - Corey Feldman (before the drugs), Jerry O'Connell (before he was slim) and Wil Weaton (before he was nobody).

#151 - An American Werewolf in London (1981)
The story of the stupid Americans ;) who doesn't listen to the yokels at an english pub warning them not to go on the moors. What follows is at times very scary and often darkly funny. Plus there is that incredible transformation scene still amazing to watch almost 15 years later.
